ClimateTech startup OakTree Power announces new CEO as it eyes international expansion
London, April 7th , 2022 – OakTree Power, a leading climate tech company headquartered in London, has announced the appointment of new Chief Executive Officer Chantel Scheepers with immediate effect.
With many years spent in the cleantech energy sector, expertly growing and managing large teams, Chantel will be responsible for driving the fast expansion of OakTree Power’s exclusive 100% green virtual portfolio while positioning the company as an innovative solution provider for the neural grid of the future.
Building on OakTree Power’s rapid expansion, which has seen the startup already secure several FTSE 250 clients headquartered in London, including a large European financial institution, prestigious UK law firms, and the world’s leading global business publication, Chantel’s focus will be growing OakTree Power’s international business as the company expands to 10 locations over the next 18 months.
Chantel joins OakTree Power from Gentrack PLC, a NASDAQ-listed global clean tech company. She will draw on her experience serving on the management team with KiWi Power, a leading Platform as a Service in the Virtual Power Plant space, to rapidly accelerate OakTree Power’s strategy to expand its global operations.
